Arusdaerahnews.com - Ilaga Puncak, MediaHabema – One of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, the Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Puncak Regency, Papua Tengah Province. On Saturday, 26 October 2024, the 323 Task Forces conducted Social Communication (Komsos) with some youth of Kago Village, Ilaga District, while conducting areal protection tasks.
The Commander of the 323 Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno, stressed the importance of the Task Forces’ focus on the community's fundamental needs in the assigned area. Therefore, on Saturday, the Soldiers took advantage of the protection tasks by interacting and communicating with Kago youth in a classroom of the State Senior High School 1 Ilaga. The 323 Task Forces conducted the interaction to practice music with Kago youth.
While maintaining their focus on security, the Soldiers took the opportunity to communicate in harmony with Kago youth at the State Senior High School 1 Ilaga. In this communication, the Soldiers practiced music with Kago youth to support the smoothness of the art lesson. In response to the Soldiers’ role, a youth, Matius Tabuni, said, "Thank you, Commander 323. We are happy to practice music together. God bless." This heartwarming response from the youth underscores the impact of the Army's efforts, as well as the unity and support in the assigned area, providing a sense of reassurance and security.
After receiving the activity report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, acknowledged the 323 Task Forces’ initiative to conduct social communication with Kago youth at the State Senior High School 1 Ilaga. His words: "The 323 Task Forces' initiative is a testament to TNI's commitment to conduct inclusive social communication with all stakeholders to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region." This acknowledgment from the highest authority in HABEMA underscores the significant impact of such initiatives on the region's development, instilling profound hope and optimism about their potential to shape the region's future positively.
